Aliah Binti Mohd Soberi embarked on the journey of legal studies at Universiti Malaya (UM), where she completed a rigorous four-year law degree program from 2007 to 2011. Upon graduating, she commenced her pupillage under the esteemed mentorship of Mr. Michael Chai at Messrs Michael Chai & Co. Following the successful completion of her chambering, she was called to the Bar on 25 June 2012.

Building on her foundational legal training, Aliah further advanced her expertise in 2014 by obtaining a Diploma in Shariah and Legal Practice (DSLP) from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), enriching her understanding of both civil and syariah law.

Aliah’s commitment to continuous professional development led her to pursue a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at Universiti Malaya in 2022. She completed the program with distinction in 2023. During her time at UM, Aliah also shared her knowledge and skill as a part-time tutor, instructing undergraduate students in key legal subjects such as trusts, evidence law, land law, and legal methods for three semesters.

In August 2024, Aliah took another step forward in her legal career by joining Messrs Misyail Othman & Co. Here, she continues to provide valuable legal services, particularly in the area of legal research.
